Strategic Plan
2008-2010
The University of Toronto Sustainability Office 2008-2010 Strategic Plan is a summary of the strategic goals of the University of Toronto’s St. George Campus Sustainability Office, and the means by which it will successfully achieve these goals for 2008-2010.
The tri-campus sustainability strategy, which includes the Tri-Campus Sustainability Board, provides an overarching structure and governance for the Office facilitating a link between specific campus goals and the University mission and objectives on sustainability.
The Tri-Campus Sustainability Board’s overall purpose is to effectively embed sustainability into the fabric of the University of Toronto by providing guidance, support, and accountability to related sustainability activities in various sites and divisions in the University. The Board will help the individual campuses find opportunities to coordinate their agendas and priorities with the other campuses on University-wide initiatives.
The Tri-Campus Sustainability Board oversees the University of Toronto’s tri-campus collaboration regarding environmental sustainability. The Board works to ensure that the high quality of life experienced within the University of Toronto community is provided in a financially viable and ecologically appropriate way.
