Teaching & Learning Initiatives

Sustainability Pathways Program
Created by the CECCS, the Sustainability Pathways Program is designed to provide curricular and co-curricular sustainability education and leadership development training to all students at U of T across all degree programs.

Experiential Learning
U of T students learn by doing, applying their skills and knowledge to real-world sustainability challenges. Experiential education provides students with the opportunity for professional development, while also creating tangible impacts in the community.

Community of Practice on Sustainability Teaching
This CoP brings faculty and doctoral students together from different programs, faculties and campuses to discuss and critically analyze the what and the how of teaching sustainability.

Campus as a Living Lab
Campus as a Living Lab (CLL) projects help deliver sustainability solutions to U of T partners, internally and externally. CLL projects provide students with opportunities for applied research and practical problem-solving.
