This staff sustainability training was co-developed by the Committee on the Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainability (CECCS), tri-campus Sustainability Offices, the Office of Indigenous Initiatives (OII), and People, Strategy, Equity & Culture (PSEC). It will familiarize staff with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and some of the ways the University of Toronto is advancing them. We will discuss the connection between sustainability, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and Truth & Reconciliation initiatives at the University, and explore strategies for staff to participate in and advance these goals within their individual capacities as U of T staff members.

Learning outcomes:

  • Familiarize staff with the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Understand the connection between sustainability and EDI
  • Learn about U of T sustainability, EDI, and Truth & Reconciliation initiatives
  • Empower staff to advance sustainability in their workplaces.

University of Toronto staff can register for the next session here on Success Factors (click on Instructor-Led guided class).
